Vacation Bible School

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. — Psalm 145:3 (ESV)

Is there just one God? . . . Who is God? . . . What is God like? . . . Does God love me? . . . Can I know God?

Our kids grapple with questions like these every day. At Mystery Island, we’ll uncover the truth about our Creator God! There’s a sea of confusion about who God is and what he’s like, so we’ll track down the one true God and learn how amazing he is through the pages of Scripture.

Mystery Island VBS is packed with teaching that connects the Bible to the real world and gives kids a better understanding of our awe-inspiring Creator and the salvation he offers through Jesus Christ.

Each day, kids will learn more about one of God’s amazing attributes (great, almighty, ruler, Emmanuel, trustworthy) and how that applies to their lives.

Grab your sunscreen and get ready for a taste of paradise as you track down the one true God at Mystery Island!

This program will take place in early July. Online registration will open on May 1; registration at the door is available on the first day of Vacation Bible School from 8:45 AM to 9:00 AM.

Vacation Bible School is a week-long extravaganza for children between the ages of 4 to 12 (going to Grade 6 in September). It is held in early July each year at the church. Registration is free and we are sure your child will really enjoy him or herself. During the week, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day, children sing songs, listen to Bible stories, and make crafts. It is led by a host of volunteers from the church. If you have any questions about Vacation Bible School, please contact our coordinator.

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve, consider helping out at the next Vacation Bible School. There are a wide range of opportunities for you to be involved. Helpers are needed to tell Bible stories, help make crafts, and more. If you are a member of the Langley Canadian Reformed Church and have a child attending, you are encouraged to volunteer in some manner to ensure that all aspects of this wonderful program run smoothly. Please contact our coordinator early to see how you can help.
