Vacation Bible School

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. — Colossians 1:15-16 (ESV)

Discover the incredible mysteries of the final frontier—right from your own backyard. Your telescope becomes a portal through which you encounter amazing and wonderful things designed by a Creator who is even bigger than the vastness of His creation. But the most amazing wonder to be discovered truly boggles the mind. The God who created everything there is—the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible—wants a relationship with you! And from the very beginning, God had a plan to restore the relationship He knew we would break.

This program will take place July 3 – 6, 2018. Online registration is now closed; registration at the door is available on July 3 from 8:45 AM to 9:00 AM.

Vacation Bible School is a week-long extravaganza for children between the ages of 4 to 12 (going to Grade 6 in September). It is held in early July each year at the church. Registration is free and we are sure your child will really enjoy him or herself. During the week, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day, children sing songs, listen to Bible stories, and make crafts. It is led by a host of volunteers from the church. If you have any questions about Vacation Bible School, please contact our coordinators: vbs@langleycanrc.org.

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve, consider helping out at the next Vacation Bible School. There are a wide range of opportunities for you to be involved. Helpers are needed to tell Bible stories, help make crafts, and more. If you are a member of the Langley Canadian Reformed Church and have a child attending, you are encouraged to volunteer in some manner to ensure that all aspects of this wonderful program run smoothly. Please contact our coordinators early to see how you can help: vbs@langleycanrc.org.
