Our Building

Concerning this house that you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and obey my rules and keep all my commandments and walk in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father. — 1 Kings 6:12 (ESV)

Langley Canadian Reformed Church was instituted on June 20, 1976. During the early years, the congregation worshipped in different halls in the community. Growth in membership eventually created the need for our own building, which was constructed in 1981. As the growth continued, renovations took place in 2004, during which the balcony was expanded and a foyer was added to the front of the building with room for overflow seating. Further renovations took place in 2013 during which the overflow seating area was incorporated into the sanctuary. The present seating capacity of the sanctuary is 542.

The sanctuary is equipped with a professional system for audio and video recording, including the ability to stream live video over the Internet.

A Kawai Grand Piano is located in the sanctuary. A two-manual pipe organ with 21 stops is installed above the pulpit. Another Kawai upright piano is located in the fellowship hall.

Adjacent to the fellowship hall is the kitchen, and there are several rooms designated for children’s activities.
