Storyhour
Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. — Psalm 8:2 (NIV)
A place to learn about God. Children meet the God who made the world and cares for it. They learn about Jesus’ love through stories in the Bible. They experience this love through caring, committed teachers who love God and love children. Story Hour is designed to make children feel safe and secure, in an atmosphere of warmth and love. There is a time for singing and sharing; Bible stories and fun crafts; snacks, laughs, and new friends to be made. All of this is provided for FREE. God’s love is free and so is the time spent learning about Him.
StoryHour is a great program for children between the ages of 3 – 5. It is offered for mothers who are attending Coffee Break Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday mornings between September and May.
This is a great way to serve those who are attending the Bible study by allowing them to leave their children in capable hands while they study God’s Word. It is also a great way to allow women from the Langley community to come and attend Coffee Break while their children enjoy StoryHour. Finally, StoryHour is an opportunity to serve the children that attend by teaching them more about their Creator and Saviour. StoryHour volunteers lead the children in singing, in learning about God through Bible stories, and in creating crafts that deal with what they have learned. If you would like to serve in this fantastic program, please contact our coordinator.
