Music Committee

Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! — Psalm 150:3-5 (ESV)

The music committee takes care of the musical instruments in the church, coordinating the tuning and maintenance. The music committee maintains a policy for the use of the instruments and oversees the adherence to this policy. The music committee promotes activities that demonstrate the capabilities of the musical instruments. The music committee encourages and supports future accompanists, making the church’s instruments available, and providing sheet music resources. Members of the music committee are: a representative from church council, the appointed organists, and two other members from the congregation. The daily responsibilities of the committee are assumed by the church’s organist(s). For more information, please contact the committee.
