An Evening Symposium on Loss, Grief and Funerals
Presenter, Rick Ludwig, B.A., Funeral Director (Lic. BAO)
When: Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 7:30-9:30pm
Where: Langley Canadian Reformed Church
The evening symposium will include two speeches by Mr. Rick Ludwig.
The first, “Jesus Wept”: Meeting your Saviour who understands your grief and sends help. Working through the Bible we see grief as a God-given response to our losses, and discover that our Saviour really understands our suffering and sends us help.
The second, “Come, Fellow-Pilgrims, Heads Then High”: Facing the last enemy together. Understanding matters of “first importance” from the Scriptures surrounding the care of the dead and the support of the living in the community you live in.
There will also be time for you to ask questions of the presenter.
