Male Choir 2014
A temporary Male Choir is scheduled to start in January.
1\) This choir will work towards a performance in April 2014 (when Andre Knevel will be visiting with pan-flautist Liselotte Rokyta or maybe our own concert evening - to be determined). 2) We have done some "research" to determine the best evening to practice, and the consensus is Tuesday night from 7:30 until 9:15 PM (to allow council members to participate). 3) Repertoire includes traditional hymns, such as "Abide with me", "Amazing Grace", "The old Rugged Cross", "It is well with my soul". In addition we plan to sing some Psalms in harmony, and... explore descants that are sung by the men in some Dutch churches every Sunday. 4) There will be some cost involved to cover some expenses. 5) Thankfully Willoughby church is available to us! (A location easy to access for most, with nice acoustics, a good piano/organ and a good coffee maker..!). 6) Invitation to all men - join this choir for these few months! The more men - the easier singing becomes. No experience needed, but a willingness to learn a thing or two. And take a friend, colleague, or neighbour along! No sign-up sheet.
